FOUNDING PARTNER

Laura is the founding partner of Third Street Partners and serves as a strategic advisor to leading asset management firms and their top performing executives. Leveraging over twenty years of asset management experience at both large firms and boutiques she built Third Street Partners anchored in the industry’s best practices, her trusted relationships and exceptional network. She works with global investment management organizations to provide a hands-on, rigorous and collaborative approach to sourcing and retaining high-quality talent, including talent-related M&A activity for firms and in-house teams and sourcing front-office roles. Her mission with Third Street Partners is to support clients’ long-term business and growth objectives through talent strategy advisory and execution.

Before starting Third Street Partners in 2013, Laura was a partner at David Barrett Partners and was a senior member of the asset and wealth management practice at Russell Reynolds Associates in Boston and New York. Laura graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Kentucky.

PARTNER

John Forsythe is a Partner at Third Street Partners where he provides strategic counsel and execution support to clients who span senior roles within the global asset management industry. He partners with executives and team leaders to identify opportunities to drive business objectives and growth through talent strategy. John spent more than 25 years across product development, distribution strategy and leadership roles and applies that experience and success to consulting asset management executives.

Prior to joining Third Street Partners, he launched an independent strategic consulting firm, North River Strategic Advisors following a 15-year tenure at BrightSphere Investment Group (BSIG) in Boston where he was the Director of Product Development and Chief Global Portfolio Strategist. Before joining BSIG, John was part of the Product Management team at Wellington Management Company. There he was responsible for analyzing investment strategies, supporting global distribution and for the development and commercialization of new investment products. Early in his career, John held analytical and client service positions at Fidelity and Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo (GMO).

John, who is a CFA charter holder, earned a BA in Finance from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received an MS in Finance from Bentley University.
